Effects of maternal cold exposure on placental and fetal weight. (A) Scheme for maternal exposure to two different environmental temperatures. Female C57BL/6 J mice were acclimated at 28 °C (n = 7) or 18 °C (n = 7) for 1 week and mated with males. Pregnant females were maintained at respective temperature until embryonic day 18.5.
