A phylogenetic tree was made using RAxML using a GTRGAMMA model, validated by 100 bootstrap replicates. Bootstrap values < 50 % are indicated by a “-”. Closest homologs to the functionally described SPRYSEC-4, SPRYSEC-5, SPRYSEC-8, SPRYSEC-15, and SPRYSEC-19 [10] are shown. Clusters of SPRYSEC variants are boxed (A- E).
