Quantitative gene expression of PAs biosynthesis under drought conditions in wheat plants (45 DAE). The panel (A) shows the transcriptional regulation of Put biosynthesis and the panel (B) shows the transcriptional regulation of Spd and Spm biosynthesis. For quantitative analysis, total RNAs from spikes, shoot axes, leaves, and leaves were used. The expression level in each sample was represented as fold change expression relative to its control expression values. Three technical and three biological replicates were used. The values are the mean ± standard error. Significance at P ≤ 0.05 was indicated by (*)
