Correlation of gene expression analysis between comparative transcriptome analysis and qRT-PCR. Gene expression of epha2, sema6d, acsl4, slc7a5, hipk1, nol6, and timp2 increased in red individuals, and gene expression of slc25a42 and kdf1 decreased in red individuals. qRT-PCR and RNA-Seq fold change values were highly correlated (Pearson correlation ~ 0.97 and p-value = 2.27E-5)
