Diurnal expression patterns of PbRVE genes under 12-h light/12-h dark conditions. The time of the light beginning to turn on was defined as zeitgeber time zero (ZT 0). Starting from ZT1, leaves were harvested every 4 h for a total of 6 times throughout the whole day. White and black areas indicate light and darkness, respectively. PbUBQ was used as an internal control. The highest expression level of each gene was set to 1 for standardized calculation. Error bars represent the standard error
