Galactomannan contributes to the resistance of A. fumigatus to fludioxonil. Two cell wall mutants, Δgtb3 and ΔglfA that encode essential proteins for the synthesis of GAG and galactomannan, respectively, were analysed for their resistance to fludioxonil and compared with their parental strains AfS35 and D141, respectively.
