The presence of nikkomycin Z and caspofungin enhance the antifungal activity of fludioxonil. A disk diffusion assay was performed with strain AfS35 on AMM plates either without further supplement or containing sublethal concentrations of nikkomycin Z (2 µg/ml) or caspofungin (0.5 µg/ml). The paper disks were loaded with 1.5 µg fludioxonil. The plates were incubated at 37 °C and images were taken after 72 h. The diameters of the inhibition zones were measured for three zones per strain; standard deviations are indicated. **** p < 0.0001
