Enhanced volcano plot identifying differentially expressed genes between the euthanasia methods in different tissue types. In pituitary, no significant deviation in expression of protein coding genes was detected. However, small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs) were found to be significantly higher while using the ANOXIA method (Fig. 2A). No significant differential gene expression was observed in hypothalamus (Fig. 2B), lungs (Fig. 2C) and liver (Fig. 2D). Log2 fold change is plotted on the x axis and negative logarithm (to the base 10) of adjusted p-value is plotted on the y axis
