(A) Phylogenetic tree of C. sapidus cuticle proteins was constructed using neighbor-joining (NJ) approach in MEGA X. Bootstrap consisted of 1000 replicates (Fig. 6A-B). A sequence logo of MEGA X aligned AMP1A-like, AMP8.1, and LCP17-like (B) and CP7-like, CP8-like, ACP20, and pro-resilin (D) was generated using the WebLogo 3.0 (https://weblogo.threeplusone.com/create.cgi). The Y-axis describes the amount of information in bits*, amino acid size is proportional to frequency, and the X-axis shows the position in the alignment.
