Antennal transcript abundance of odorant receptors in females and males of D. longicaudata. Transcript abundance was represented as Log10 (TPM + 1), and white and red colors represent the change from lowest to highest expression among libraries of the antennae of both sexes (n = 5 per group). Note that figure segment (B) continues from the bottom of segment (A), since these segments were separated for better visualization of sequence IDs. A dendrogram was plotted using hierarchical clustering of gene expression values based on Euclidean distance and a complete linkage method for clustering. Receptors up- and downregulated in the female antenna vs. male antenna were highlighted with a red and blue arrow, respectively. Raw counts, TMP and Log10 (TPM + 1) values per sequence and library are presented in Table S1: Sheet D.
