Correction to figure 4 and the text associated is still in the production process

Following the publication of this article, it came to our attention that we neglected to acknowledge the inspiration for figure 4 and the text associated with the figure 1 provided by Bakkeren and colleagues http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.fgb.2008.04.005 (9).
With all the kindness, the acceptance of our apologies, the acknowledgement of our certain citation and reference, and the encouragement to make a correction from the first author Prof. Bakkeren and the corresponding author Prof. Schirawski, along with the permission from Elsevier to modify the figure, now I am working together with the BMC Genomics editorial team and all the other co-authors to prepare the correction to rectify the present sitation.
We sincerely apologise for the oversight.
